All Those Food Market is an ode to food and to all those projects that are committed to doing things right, even if in many cases that means swimming against the current. At the All Those Food Market, two concepts shared the same space. On the one hand, a food market in the main hall of the University, where more than 60 artisans presented their handmade products and kitchen accessories. You could find everything from cheeses and aromatic herbs, to homemade jams, spicy sauces and sourdough bread. There were also knives, pottery and aprons. This summer edition also featured a fruit and vegetable stand, a freshly made gazpacho stand and a Sake Bar. The beautiful historic hall brought together a group of small artisan projects in the same space.

In the gardens you will find different areas. First of all, craft pops, cold beer, sweets and a nice space with activities for children. There were also different artisans selling their drinks from craft beer, wine, to vermouth and other natural beverages. The BeMyDj collective, our favorite DJs, were once again in charge of the music for the event.

In this edition the street food area was in the beautiful garden overlooking Diputació street. We carefully selected 11 projects of small restaurants, caterings and food trucks from Barcelona that offered their specialties. Following the philosophy of All Those, we carefully selected projects with special concepts and top quality products. We also invited a project from Madrid that we love.

It was a very special weekend, with great impact and attendance, where a beautiful energy was created. It was a truly authentic food festival.

All Those was created to showcase and connect the emerging artisan and young food entrepreneur scene in Barcelona. Besides interviewing them for our website, we wanted to bring the community together one day in the same space. With that aim, All Those Food Market was born, and the first edition was held last December 20th at the beautiful historic building and gardens of Universidad de Barcelona in the city center. In All Those Food Market you’ll find small independent projects with personality. Unique ventures started by people with a young spirit that seek quality and that think that a better world through gastronomy is possible.

The market was divided in two sections. In the historic hall 55 artisans were offering their products. You could find the artisanal jams from La Madre de Miren or Museu de la Confitura, coffees from Right Side Coffee, Satan’s Coffee Corner or Nomad Coffee, craft sweets from Çukor, bread from Cloudstreet, cold-pressed juices from Mother, amongst many others.

In the beautiful gardens, some of the best emerging street food initiatives in the city came together, alongside a few small yet remarkable restaurants. Caravan Made, Rooftop Smokehouse, Chivuo’s, La Pepita, La Cocina Palpita, Cookink, and EatWith were the projects that participated in the gardens of the University. The delicious food was paired with craft beers from Edge Brewing and Barcino Brewers, wines from La Vinyeta and Finca Parera, natural lemonades from Linda Limon, and great music from the BeMyDj collective. It was a unique day, full of energy and warm weather.

We’d like to thank Dasler, Grup MDM, Edge Brewing, Tïesto, BeMydj, La Bolsera, La Vinyeta, Finca Parera, Morro Fi, EatWith, Garcia de Pou y Artes Gráficas Torres and all the people who attended and made possible the first edition of All Those Food Market.
